George W. Fletcher is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering and Business Administration. He also received a masters degree from Clemson University in Environmental Systems Engineering. As a retired professional engineer, Fletcher has since started the Piedmont Industrial Waste Service in 1997 and founded the Fletcher Group, Inc. in 1993, serving as President until 2006. Fletcher has re-joined the ReWa Board of Commissioners after four years of serving on the Greenville City Council.
