As Chief Operating Officer, Joel organizes and implements programs within major organizational policies that are in support of ReWa’s mission, vision, and values. He is responsible for providing strategic vision and planning while directing and supervising the following areas of ReWa, including:
- Information Technology
- Human Resources
- Collections & Maintenance
- Technical Services
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Regulatory Services
- Asset Management
- Business Services
- Customer Service
Joel most recently served as the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) and has since provided leadership for the Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Laboratory, Safety, Security, and Regulatory Programs. He has 23 years of experience in the public wastewater industry with an emphasis on facility operations and compliance. He offers practical experiences in science, engineering, customer service, finance, and management.
Joel is a Clemson alumnus. He is an affiliate of the American Water Works Association, Water Environment Federation, and Water Environment Association of South Carolina (WEASC). He has also previously served as the Chair of the WEASC Biosolids Committee. In addition, Joel has served as a Deacon at Crossroads Baptist Church and he currently serves on the Board of Directors at Dacusville Rural Fire District.
