Phyllis has served as Development Specialist at Roper Mountain
Science Center since December 2017.
She served in the SC House of Representatives from 2010-2018, representing the eastside of Greenville County. During her tenure in the Legislature, she chaired the Healthcare Subcommittee of the Legislative Oversight Committee, and co-chaired the House Opioid Abuse Prevention Study Committee.
Phyllis also previously served as Chair of the Greenville County Council, Vice President of Governmental Affairs at the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce, Campaign Manager for former U.S. Sen. Jim DeMint, Management Analyst at the City of Greenville, and member of the Greenville County Planning Commission.
Phyllis earned a Masters in Public Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelors in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati. She has three grown children, all graduates of Eastside High School.
