Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) Board of Commissioners at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025. The hearing will be held at the ReWa Discovery Lab, which is located at 564 Mauldin Road, Greenville, South Carolina.
Members of the public are invited to express views regarding proposed rate increases for high-strength surcharge rates as found in Attachment A of the utility’s Sewer Use Regulations and the proposed Fiscal Year 2026 rates. ReWa’s rates were lasted updated in 2008. A third-party study conducted in the first quarter of 2025 recommended updates based on the rising cost of treating high-strength waste.
