About the Area

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Greenville attracts more than 7,000 visitors daily for its nationally recognized quality of life. Located between three major rivers, a few hours from the beach and only 45 minutes from the mountains, the area’s opportunity for great outdoor adventure remains a Carolina treasure.

Falls Park, located in the heart of Downtown Greenville, is one of our city’s most iconic locations. The park’s 345-foot long bridge, “Liberty Bridge,” boasts a curved architecture that’s unique to Greenville and overlooks the stunning 28-foot Reedy River Falls. With a downtown oasis, unique boutique shops and a thriving arts scene, it’s no wonder The New York Times recognized Greenville as “a national model for a pedestrian-friendly city center.”

The river also runs along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a 20-mile long greenway that connects the City of Greenville to the charming town of Travelers Rest. We invite you to walk, run or bike the trail and work up an appetite so you can enjoy one of Greenville’s locally-owned restaurants. With more than 120 options, we promise you’ll discover a foodie paradise you didn’t know existed.

The ReWa headquarters is based in Greenville, S.C., and is pivotal in planning for Greenville’s continued growth through projects like Dig Greenville and forward-thinking strategy such as the one depicted in our Five-year Strategic Plan.
