Tours and Presentations
Behind the scenes at ReWa

ReWa hosts WRRF tours for various groups, including local schools, colleges/universities, businesses, homeschoolers, Girl Scout Troops, and other environmental interest groups as part of our public education program.

This program is an ongoing effort to increase awareness about the importance of the wastewater treatment process and protecting the aquatic environment of the Upstate.

ReWa also welcomes Upstate teachers to learn more about the wastewater treatment process through workshops and tours. Our workshops can provide teachers with information to guide their students toward future employment opportunities by touring WRRFs and attending presentations by ReWa’s staff.

Group Presentations

In addition to our WRRF tours, ReWa provides opportunities for public education through our Speakers Bureau. By contacting our Speakers Bureau, you can arrange to have a speaker from our organization give a presentation at an upcoming session with your group or organization. These presentations can be tailored for time available and for your group’s interests.

To schedule a tour complete the online form or download a PDF version of the form to print. Tours are offered between 8am and 3pm Monday – Friday, and are subject to staff and WRRF availability. For safety reasons, no children under the age of 10 years will be permitted onsite. For more information call 864-299-4000, ext. 283.
