INNOVATION CAMPUS

The ReWa Innovation Campus embodies the vision of former CEO Joel Jones, whose 30+ years of dedication to the water industry helped shape ReWa’s future. Joel’s passion preserved historic buildings, transforming them into spaces for education, research, and community engagement—all while protecting green space and honoring ReWa’s legacy. Joel’s legacy lives on through this campus, a place where history and innovation come together to serve the community for generations to come.

Originally 1940s grit and grease removal buildings, remodeled in 2021 and 2024, these spaces have housed ReWa staff and partner non-profit organizations.

A state-of-the-art laboratory offering interactive exhibits on wastewater infrastructure, community tours, and insights into ReWa’s history. Also home to lab personnel and regulatory services staff.

Built in 1930 as a chlorination facility, now serving as an employee wellness clinic.

A 1928 influent lift station, repurposed in 2025 as a meeting room for the Board of Commissioners and community events.

Originally a 1940 Chemical and Power Building, this space now hosts training, offices, and events. Renovated in 2021, it received the 2022 Associated Builders and Contractors Merit Award.
