Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) celebrated 69 industrial customers for their work in following the utility's sewer use regulations, which support public health and the environment.
GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (May 18, 2026)—Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) recognized 69 industrial partners during its 35th Annual Compliance Excellence Awards, honoring companies that demonstrated outstanding adherence to the utility’s sewer use regulations throughout 2025.
“These awards allow us to celebrate industries that are protecting public health and the environment,” said Rebecca West, ReWa CEO. “Each of our customers is a partner, and we appreciate their commitment to doing what is right.”
Companies recognized received one of two awards. Compliance Excellence Awards were given to industrial customers in 100% compliance with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations and all permit requirements in 2025. Stewardship certificates were given to companies with no more than one minor violation during the year.
The utility’s pretreatment program regulates industrial and commercial users through permitting, inspections and sampling.
ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations set standards to meet local, state and federal requirements, including the Clean Water Act.
