ReWa recognizes 57 companies for regulatory compliance

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA (December 2, 2025) — Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) recognized 57 companies for safeguarding Upstate waterways during the utility’s 34th Annual Compliance Excellence Awards.

The awards celebrate companies for complying with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations.

“As we mark our centennial, we are reminded that strong partnerships have always been the foundation of ReWa’s success,” said Rebecca West, ReWa’s CEO. “Our industrial customers are essential allies in this mission, and we deeply value the many Upstate industries that are doing their part to protect public health and the environment for generations to come.”

Companies recognized received one of two awards. Compliance Excellence Awards were given to significant industrial users that were in 100% compliance with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations and all permit requirements in 2024. Stewardship certificates were given to significant industrial users with no more than one minor violation in 2024.

ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations set standards to meet local, state and federal requirements, including the Clean Water Act.
