ReWa recognizes industrial partners

GREENVILLE, SOUTH CAROLINA—Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) recognized 52 companies for meeting standards to protect the Upstate’s water sources and quality of life.

The companies received awards during ReWa’s 31st Annual Compliance Awards Celebration which was held on the utility’s Innovation Campus. The awards celebrate companies that comply with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations.

“ReWa is committed to safeguarding our water environment, but we don’t work alone,” said Joel Jones, ReWa’s CEO. “We partner with other utilities, people living in the five counties served by ReWa and the companies operating in our service area. Together, we protect our watersheds and the Upstate’s quality of life.”

Companies recognized received one of two awards. Compliance Excellence Awards were given to significant industrial users that were in 100% compliance with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulations and all permit requirements in 2023.
