WHAT NOT TO FLUSH

Help ReWa protect our pipes, water, and environment by knowing what NOT to flush or pour down the drain. Your toilet and drains are not a trash can!

  • Wipes (even flushable ones), dental floss, diapers, and sanitary products can clog pipes and damage equipment. Always dispose of those items in the trash.

  • Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) can solidify in pipes, causing costly blockages. Can it, cool it, trash it! Let FOG solidity in a container before disposal.

  • Unused medications can pollute waterways and harm wildlife. Use drug take-back sites for safe disposal. Review local drop box locations here.

  • Paint and cleaning products are hazardous chemicals that can harm the environment when poured down the drain. Follow hazardous waste disposal guidelines or contact your local waste management center.
