Proud STEMFest Supporters

Posted February 2, 2017 in Articles

At Renewable Water Resources, our main goal is to protect our local aquatic environment.

However, that effort includes a heavy reliance on science and technology. That is why we are proud to promote and support events such as Roper Mountain Science Center’s STEMFest, a daylong event that brings together community partners to help children discover the world of science, technology, engineering and math on Saturday, February 11.

Visitors will be able to participate in engineering projects, view drone and robot demonstrations, explore computer-aided drafting and design with LEGOs and many other activities during the festival, which lasts from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the center, 402 Roper Mountain Road.

The young people of Greenville need to be engaged in learning and understanding the sciences. The environmental work ReWa will be doing in the future will need their minds to help us to continue to provide the cutting technology and resources needed to keep our waterways clean and healthy.
