Renewable Water Resources Recognizes Local Industries for Compliance Efforts

Greenville, S.C. (May 13, 2014) – Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) held its 22nd Annual Compliance Excellency Awards Banquet at the Embassy Suites in Greenville, SC.

ReWa recognized 43 local industries for demonstrating excellent compliance with environmental regulations throughout 2013. The Compliance Excellency Awards are presented to local industries that are in complete compliance with ReWa’s Sewer Use Regulation. Plaques are given to Industries with complete compliance for the year, meaning no violations of their permit, and certificates are given to industries with no more than 1 violation within that year.

“Renewable Water Resources wishes to extend deep gratitude to these organizations for assisting in providing a cleaner environment in the Upstate,” said Joel Jones, pretreatment manager at ReWa.

Companies that received a plaque for compliance excellency are 3M Company, Ashland, AVX, BASF, Bausch + Lomb, Booth Electrosystems, Byrtech Custom Machine Works, Caterpillar, Cherokee Management, Cintas, Columbia Farms, CompX National, Sealed Air Corporation, Cytec Carbon Fibers, EEEA, Fabri-Kal, General Electric Gas Turbine, Great American Tank Wash, Greenville Colorants, Henkel Corporation, Holly Oak Chemical, Lockheed Martin Aircraft Center, Michelin North America, Mitsubishi Polyester Films, National Electric, Carbon Products, Roll Technology Corporation, Roy Metal Finishing Company, Safety Components Fabric Technologies, Saint – Gobain Abrasives, Solvay Specialty Polymers SA, Span Packaging Services, T&S Brass & Bronze Works, Tiarco Chemical, and Uniifirst.

Industries that received a certificate are Aurora Specialty Textiles Group, Bosch Rexroth, Daystrong Rubber Products, Industrial Container Services, Irix Manufacturing, Nippon Carbide Industry, Southern Weaving, and Stevens Aviation.
