ReWa Tours in 2018
Ever wondered what we are doing on Mauldin Road? Then maybe you should give us a call to schedule a tour of one of Water Resource Recovery Facilities. ReWa hosts WRRF tours for various groups, including local schools, colleges/universities, businesses, homeschoolers, Girl Scout Troops, and other environmental interest groups as part of our public education program.
You can also tour our new Water Reuse Garden on the campus.
This program is an ongoing effort to increase awareness about the importance of the wastewater treatment process and protecting the aquatic environment of the Upstate. As a community, our actions greatly impact all of those around us, the environment and future generations.
ReWa also welcomes Upstate teachers to learn more about the wastewater treatment process through workshops and tours. Our workshops can provide teachers with information to guide their students toward future employment opportunities by touring WRRFs and attending presentations by ReWa’s staff.
