SC Chamber Safety Awards Presented to Renewable Water Resources

Posted April 17, 2014 in Articles

Greenville, S.C. (April 17, 2014) — Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) was presented the South Carolina Chamber Safety Awards earlier this month to honor their efforts in making workplace safety a priority.

“The South Carolina Chamber of Commerce is proud to have conscientious companies operating in our state. These companies deserve credit for their ongoing commitment to keeping their employees and their workplaces safe,” said Otis Rawl, president and chief executive officer of the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce.

The following ReWa departments received safety awards: Instrumentation, Laboratory, Maintenance Shop, Industrial Pretreatment, Administrative and Engineering Services, as well as seven ReWa water resource recovery facilities.

The Safety Awards are presented annually based on companies achieving a commendable lost workday case rate during the previous calendar year. The SC Chamber of Commerce honors those companies who make workplace safety a priority with an annual luncheon.
