We live here too. And we play an active role in supporting our community through investing in organizations and initiatives that share our strategic vision for the future. Together, we have advanced our region and proudly established Upstate South Carolina as one of the fastest-growing areas in our nation.

With the support of our partners, we continue to enhance our community, our environment and our quality of life to be enjoyed for generations to come.

Cancer Survivors Park

Located along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, the Cancer Survivors Park provides a place of natural serenity right in the heart of Downtown Greenville. Created in honor of cancer patients, survivors and loved ones, the 6.8-acre park stretches from the edge of Falls Park to the edge of Cleveland Park and promotes Greenville’s active culture by inviting community members and visitors to experience the rich natural resources of our area.

ReWa along with many community partners joined together to develop this beautiful space devoted to rejuvenation, inspiration and healing.

Upstate Roundtable

Founded in 1994, the Upstate Roundtable was established to address infrastructure concerns in response to the Upstate’s increasing economic growth. Community, business and governmental leaders, as well as technical experts, gathered to review and solve challenges of aligning area wastewater infrastructure capacity with the Upstate’s continued growth.

In 2008 the group reconvened to evaluate and update the 20-year strategic plan. Currently, the Upstate Roundtable initiative involves the review and revision of the long-range plan, including the mission statement and major objectives.

Because of the Upstate Roundtable’s careful planning, we can better focus our resources on protecting the environment and improving service to our customers.

Radiothon

We’re proud participants in Greenville’s annual Radiothon benefiting the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital. The money raised during the Radiothon is used to make hospital stays less scary and more comfortable for patients and families.

These funds provide services such as facility dogs, blanket warmers, toys for kids, distraction therapies, sleeping chairs for parents and Camp Courage scholarships for patients with cancers and blood disorders.
