The GFOA established this program in 1945 to encourage and assist state and local governments to go beyond the minimum requirements of generally accepted accounting principles to prepare comprehensive annual financial reports. ReWa has won this award for the ACFR for 25 consecutive years and for the PAFR for 20 consecutive years.
