Utility offers onsite immediate care, health screenings and mental health support

GREENVILLE—Renewable Water Resources’ (ReWa) employee health and wellness program has been recognized among the state’s best by the South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA). The regional wastewater utility recently took home the winning honors in the “Optional Employer” category in the PEBA Partners award program that recognizes employers that promote healthier workplaces.

“PEBA strives to recognize employers who are setting the bar for workplace well-being programs across the state,” reads an announcement from PEBA’s website.

The ReWa wellness program continues to earn the praise and confidence of the utility’s entire team, officials said, by providing employees the opportunity to receive immediate care that is both convenient and responsive.

“In addition to onsite medical care, ReWa continues to continually growing wellness program, with opportunities to engage with a health coach, as well as access to mobile mammography, hearing screenings and even an employee-managed walking club,” ReWa officials said.
