ReWa names Kevin James as Director of Water Resource Recovery

Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) Board of Commissioners and CEO, Graham W. Rich, have recently named Kevin James as the director of Water Resource Recovery for the agency.

James is a Georgia native and moved to South Carolina in 1989 to work for the City of Liberty. He joined ReWa in June 1992 as an operator at the Mauldin Road facility. He advanced to the role of foreman in 1999 at the Taylors facility and soon thereafter was named foreman at the Gilder Creek facility. James’ dedication and commitment to the industry led him to be promoted to Operations Manager in 2008 and most recently to Director of Water Resource Recovery. He is a Certified “A’’ biological wastewater operator for the State ofSouth Carolina. He lives in Six Mile with his wife of 21 years and his two children.
